Illegal portraits - Ritratti abusivi

"In other places happiness is all around. It's something tangible-love, passion, good people- because of they live in good places."
"Illegal portraits" is a realistic narration of the living conditions in Saracen Park between daily criminality and cultural decay.
For more than ten years, around 50 families live illegally in the park and today represent an independent community. For the government this place represents a crime laboratory and the community has no rights to be there. The park will be demolished and people have to go away.

In this documentary, the director Romano Montesarchio gives human expression to the place by a mosaic of stories, personalities and dreams.
